Rapping over beats largely produced by bluetwo3nine, the five tracks on this project shift through different styles underpinned by chopped up and hazy samples, heavy drum lines and DK's signature flow delivering sharp one-liners and hooks.
Following the mixtapes that made up his earliest work, the tracklist flows through the trials he's lived through in the past few years post pandemic, having worked on the EP in between jobs, studying and putting out a steady output of singles. Witnessing first hand how harsh and predatory the local scene can be to smaller artists, this project comes with a renewed energy and perspective.
